Focus - The announcemnet of a law that will see criminals attend their sentencin

The Lawyer that represented 2 of the familes of Lucy Letby Victim 

Richard Scorer works at the Law firm Slater and Gordon, I contacted him following the sentencing of  Prolific Child Serial Killer Lucy Letby as she refused to enter the dock to hear the VPS or her official sentencing. Letby was handed a whole life order and joined only 3 other women in history.

 

Just days after the sentence was handed down to Letby conversations arose around whether criminals should be forced to attend their sentencing, so I spoke to Richard Scorer about the impact this law could have on victims and familes and whether or not it goes against human rights.

Medicalhistory was made in the UK with the first succesful Uterus Transplant.

 

The UK’s first womb transplant is a “medical milestone” that will help people who previously had no hope of carrying their own baby.

 

I spoke to Dr LIza Johannesson from Baylor Scott & White Health about this achievement and what it means to woman around the world, and further understand what this means for fertility and even if this development could advance gender reassingment surgery.
