I am a Leeds based Broadcast Journalist and I am always looking for the oppurtunity to expand my skills and commit to a job.

Over my short time in the industry I have developed a collection of skills that makes me an adaptable member of any team, in many work places I have been described as a 'sponge' - now I know it does't sound like much but once it was explained I don't think i'd want to be compared to any other form of cleaning utensil.

​

As a sponge I absorb and take in all the information that is being directed my way, I learn fast and adapt to my surroundings. I have need to learn and grow my knowledge base - who does't like sounding smart at dinner - and i want to perfect any task that is put before me. I'm a sponge, I can be used for any occasion and you alwasy wish you had one at hand in a messy situation ... or a fast pace news room.

Though my degree is in Broadcast Journalism I am fascianted by the evolvong world of social media, I am a self-taught social media analyst. In previous roles I have taken on the role of Social Media Manager ensuring that all active platforms are up to date and have interesting reactive content that our readers want to interact with.

In my last work place Radio News Hub their social media was very much a blank slate, in the time I was there I rebranded the companys socials so they were recognised as RNH content and boosted there interactions from 71,000 to 682,000 in just six months - all the data and branding templates can be found on the Social Media page.
